Schluter-BARIN gutter components, including covers, end caps, inside and outside corners, and connectors, are made of color-coated aluminum. Additional accessory components for the Schluter-BARIN gutter system, such as down couplings, down pipes, and spouts, are made of color-coded aluminum, or zinc, or copper.

Schluter-BARIN is made of color-coated aluminum. The coating of the aluminum gutter is colorfast, as well as weather- and UV-resistant. Visible surfaces should be protected against abrasion.
