Waterproof showers for fitness facility

In 2003, a high-end fitness facility called Physical Park was built in Vaudreuil, Quebec.  This facility is a 2-level structure with over 15,000 sq. ft. of floor area. 

Because the locker rooms are located on the second floor of the facility, a superior waterproofing system was needed to ensure that no leaks or mold problems occurred in the gang showers. 

4,000 sq. ft. of the Schluter-KERDI sheet-applied waterproofing membrane was installed throughout the locker rooms and on the walls and floors of the gang showers; 12 Schluter-KERDI-DRAINS were installed in the floors. 

In addition, 3,000 sq. ft. of KERDI and four KERDI-DRAINS were installed in various steam showers and saunas throughout the facility.

Physical Park has had no problems with leaks or water damage since the installation.
