Schluter-Systems is pleased to announce the introduction of the stainless steel Schluter-KERDI-DRAIN. The new drain is ideal for tiled floors in commercial applications such as restaurants and factories or for tiled showers where metal drains are required by fire code, including multi-story construction such as condominiums, hotels, and hospitals.
The Schluter-KERDI-DRAIN ensures a simple and secure connection to bonded waterproof membranes, such as the Schluter-KERDI waterproofing membrane, at the top of the assembly rather than below it, thereby reducing the risk of leakage, efflorescence, and fungus and bacteria growth.
The stainless steel Schluter-KERDI-DRAIN features all stainless steel construction, including the integrated bonding flange, height adjustment collar, lateral adjustment ring, and grate. The Schluter-KERDI-DRAIN is also available in ABS and PVC.
