Schluter-TREP-T/-MT/-TL are made of rigid PVC with a soft, non-slip PVC wear surface. In addition, Schluter-TREP-MT features a decorative brass inlay covered with a clear, soft PVC layer. Schluter-TREP-TL features a 3/16" (5 mm) wide luminescent inlay.

In special cases, the suitability of a proposed type of profile must be verified based on the anticipated chemical, mechanical, and/or other stresses.

The profiles are resistant to most chemicals commonly encountered in tiled environments. Schluter-TREP-T/-MT/-TL are intended for use in residential areas or similar applications. The pigment in the Schluter-TREP-TL will illuminate for up to 10 hours after being exposed to light.
