Schluter-DILEX-EHK is available in stainless steel. Schluter-DILEX-HKS is available in stainless steel, with a soft, thermoplastic rubber movement zone that is attached to the profile via rigid rubber grip bars.

In special cases, the suitability of a proposed type of profile must be verified based on the anticipated chemical, mechanical, and/or other stresses.

Schluter-DILEX-EHK/-HKS are roll-formed using 304 (1.4301 = V2A) stainless steel, making the profiles especially suited for applications requiring resistance to high mechanical stresses, as well as chemical stresses (e.g., exposure to acids, alkalis, oils, greases, and solvents).

The thermoplastic rubber movement zone of Schluter-DILEX-HKS is resistant to most chemicals encountered in tiled environments.

Stainless steel and thermoplastic rubber are both resistant to mold and bacteria, making the profiles suitable for use around food.
