Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-ZSD are anchors used to provide additional mechanical attachment of KERDI-BOARD when the bond between the thin-set mortar and the substrate is questionable.
Appropriate drill bit size: 8 mm - 5/16" .
Drill hole 10 mm - 3/8" deeper than anchor length.
If the bond between the thin-set mortar and substrate is questionable, additional mechanical attachment with the KERDI-BOARD-ZSD anchors and corresponding screws is required. Fasteners are installed after the thin-set mortar has hardened.
