Schluter®-ECK-K est un profilé de protection des rebords des carreaux en acier inoxydable utilisé pour les angles muraux extérieurs de 90° ou 135°. Il assure une excellente protection des rebords contre les contraintes mécaniques, par exemple dans des cuisines industrielles et des hôpitaux. De plus, il formera un rebord arrondi aux angles muraux extérieurs pour procurer un fini épuré et décoratif.
ECK-K se colle sur les coins extérieurs des installations existantes et peut donc servir à effectuer des réparations au lieu de remplacer des coins endommagés.
ECK-K est bien adapté aux endroits où il y a des critères stricts en matière d'hygiène (ex. : hôpitaux, cuisines industrielles, salles de nettoyage, salles de bain et usines de traitement des aliments), en plus de présenter une belle esthétique.
ECK-K s’agence avec les profilés à gorge en acier inoxydable Schluter®-DILEX-EHK (coins internes des murs et transitions sol/mur) et Schluter®-DILEX-HKS (transitions sol/mur).
The Schluter®-ECK-K profile requires no special maintenance or care and is resistant to mold and fungi. Clean profiles periodically using neutral cleaning agents. Stainless steel surfaces exposed to the environment or aggressive substances should be cleaned periodically using a neutral cleaner. Regular cleaning maintains the neat appearance of stainless steel and reduces the risk of corrosion. Avoid the use of strong acids (e.g. hydrochloric or hydrofluoric) and base/alkaline cleaners (e.g. bleach, ammonia, chlorides). Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and tools. Stainless steel surfaces develop a sheen when treated with a chrome-polishing agent.
1. ECK-K is applied to prepared wall corners using KERDI-FIX, silicone, or a similar adhesive. Prior to applying the adhesive, make sure that all surfaces are free from adhesion-inhibiting substances such as oil or grease. Apply a bead of adhesive to the back of each of the profile legs; then press the legs onto the wall covering, ensuring that the lateral edges lie flat and have solid contact throughout.
2. Use a suitable cleaning agent to remove any excess adhesive from around the profile legs.
3. Remove the protective foil.
