The Schluter® Shower Tray production facility opens its doors in Plattsburgh, NY. Sophisticated in innovation and design, the manufacturing superstructure produces the complete offering of shower trays designed for both point and linear drains.
Located on the Schluter®-Systems Plattsburgh, NY campus, the thin-set manufacturing facility produces Schluter’s complete line of thin-set mortars. The 50,000 square-foot facility features an 89-foot-high, gravity-fed batching tower that houses four silos and adheres to the US Green Building Council’s requirements on sustainability in building design, construction, and operation.

The multiple award-winning design of the building emphasizes philosophies observed by Schluter as a corporation: comfort, flexibility, and sustainability. Nestled on a picturesque 450-acre lot, the 196,020-square-foot facility is home to a state-of-the-art video production studio, training area, and several key departments including Education, Customer Service, Marketing, Assembly, and more.
The KERDI-BOARD production facility commences building panel production on the Schluter Plattsburgh campus. Today, in addition to producing a host of different sizes and configurations of the KERDI-BOARD building panel, the production facility also manufactures KERDI-BOARD niches, benches, and shower curbs.
