Schluter^®-ECK-KHK

Schluter® ECK-KHK es un perfil de acero inoxidable que se adhiere posteriormente a las esquinas interiores de las baldosas existentes u otros revestimientos de pared produciendo una terminación limpia y decorativa. De esa manera, los perfiles pueden instalarse como reparación de esquinas existentes deterioradas sin necesidad de reemplazarlas. ECK-KHK Dispone de un radio de 5/16" (8 mm) que previene la acumulación de suciedad simplificando la limpieza, por lo que es ideal para cocinas comerciales, baños, plantas de procesamiento de alimentos o cualquier otro ambiente en donde se requiera una esquina higiénica. Nota: hay disponibles esquinas interiores y exteriores y conectores a juego con ECK-KHK.

The Schluter®-ECK-KHK profile requires no special maintenance or care and is resistant to mold and fungi. Clean profiles periodically using neutral cleaning agents. Stainless steel surfaces exposed to the environment or aggressive substances should be cleaned periodically using a neutral cleaner. Regular cleaning maintains the neat appearance of stainless steel and reduces the risk of corrosion. Avoid the use of strong acids (e.g. hydrochloric or hydrofluoric) and base/alkaline cleaners (e.g. bleach, ammonia, chlorides). Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and tools. Stainless steel surfaces develop a sheen when treated with a chrome-polishing agent.

1. ECK-KHK is applied to prepared wall corners using KERDI-FIX, silicone, or a similar adhesive. Prior to applying the adhesive, make sure that all surfaces are free from adhesion-inhibiting substances such as oil or grease. Apply a bead of adhesive to the back of each of the profile legs; then press the legs onto the wall covering, ensuring that the lateral edges lie flat and have solid contact throughout.

2. Use a suitable cleaning agent to remove any excess adhesive from around the profile legs.

3. Remove the protective foil.

Note: The ECK-KHK connectors should overlap the profiles by at least 3/8” (10 mm).

Install ECK-KHK inside and outside corners using a permanently elastic, waterproof adhesive (e.g., KERDI-FIX or silicone). Prior to application, any contact-inhibiting substances (e.g., grease, etc.) must be removed.
