J Brackets fasten to the top of joists and support FRS system inserts in the recessed section of the floor.
P Brackets fasten to the unmodified subfloor at the perimeter, including along wall bottom plates, and support FRS System inserts in the recessed portion of the floor.
Shims allow 5/8” subflooring to be used with KERDI-SHOWER-FRS. Shims are applied to P Brackets to accommodate the additional thickness needed for a secure interface with 5/8” subflooring.
Schluter®-KERDI-SHOWER-FRS™ is installed in the floor under the shower assembly and requires no special maintenance or care. The systems components are resistant to mold and fungi.
