- Attach brackets directly to the top of joists: no need for ledger boards
- Compatible with I-joists and dimensional lumber spaced up to 19.2" (488 mm) o.c.
- Lowers the subfloor by 11/16" (17.5 mm)
- Compatible with a variety of KERDI-SHOWER prefabricated trays
- Top fastening minimizes interference with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical within floor cavities

J Brackets fasten to the top of joists and support FRS system inserts in the recessed section of the floor.
P Brackets fasten to the unmodified subfloor at the perimeter, including along wall bottom plates, and support FRS System inserts in the recessed portion of the floor.
Shims allow 5/8” subflooring to be used with KERDI-SHOWER-FRS. Shims are applied to P Brackets to accommodate the additional thickness needed for a secure interface with 5/8” subflooring.
Schluter®-KERDI-SHOWER-FRS™ is installed in the floor under the shower assembly and requires no special maintenance or care. The systems components are resistant to mold and fungi.
