Schluter Shelves Suitable for New Showers or Retrofits
A shelf is a near necessity in a shower. The most common solution in a tiled shower is for the installer to construct a shelf using a tile covering that matches or accents the tiles in the shower area. These tile shelves can be challenging and time consuming to install and are not always the best design solution for the bathroom. Schluter has developed a line of brushed stainless steel shower shelves that are fast and easy to install and bring a new design element to tiled showers.
Although they can be used in any setting, the shelves are designed to complement the Schluter STYLE shower grates. Shelves are available in both the Curve and Floral patterns to match Schluter’s point and linear drains with the same designs.
Made with 5/32” thick stainless steel, the sturdy shelves require no special tools for installation. They fit neatly between rows of tile and do not require any materials or fasteners to penetrate the waterproofing membrane on the walls. The end result is a sleek, clean finish and a shelf that will easily hold shower accessories.

Schluter®-SHELF-N
This rectangular shelf is designed to fit inside the Schluter-KERDI-BOARD-SN shower niche and provides an alternative to a thicker tiled shelf within the niche.
Schluter®-SHELF-E
Three shapes and sizes help provide just the right amount of storage space in the shower area. All three shelves are for corner mounting and can be installed with the tiles or after the fact as a retrofit.
Schluter®-SHELF-W
A rectangular shelf, 4-1/2” x 11-3/16” with an integrated double anchoring leg for installation between tile rows anywhere on the shower wall. This shelf is designed to be installed at the same time as the tiles.
