Schluter^®-VINPRO-STEP

Schluter®-VINPRO™-STEP es un perfil de terminación y de borde para instalaciones de revestimientos flexibles (por ejemplo, LVT) en escaleras. El perfil está disponible en aluminio anodizado. VINPRO-STEP cuenta con un ala de fijación cónica, con orificios únicos espaciados uniformemente a lo largo del perfil para su uso con elementos de fijación. El ala de fijación también se puede pegar al substrato con un adhesivo como Schluter®-KERDI-FIX. El perfil presenta un reborde superior inclinado de 1/4" (6 mm) de ancho para ocultar el borde cortado del revestimiento flexible, proporcionando un aspecto acabado. El reborde superior está ranurado para añadir resistencia al deslizamiento a la superficie horizontal. La pata vertical recubre el borde del subensamblado y la parte superior de la contrahuella.

Los perfiles Schluter® para revestimientos de superficies flexibles no requieren mantenimiento ni cuidados especiales y son resistentes al moho y los hongos. Limpie los perfiles con productos de limpieza neutros. Para el aluminio anodizado, no utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos o alcalinos fuertes.

1. Seleccione el perfil en función del espesor del revestimiento flexible. Se recomienda elegir una altura de perfil hasta 0,5 mm mayor que el espesor del revestimiento.

2. Coloque el perfil en la posición deseada y marque los bordes del perfil sobre el substrato.

3.a. Instalación adhesiva

3.a. Instalación del adhesivo Aplique Schluter®-KERDI-FIX o un adhesivo equivalente en la parte trasera del ala de fijación, según las instrucciones de instalación del fabricante. Presionar el ala de fijación sobre el substrato y alinearla en la posición deseada. Asegúrese de retirar rápidamente cualquier exceso de adhesivo.

3.b. Fastened Installation

Align the profile in the desired position and fasten to the substrate through the holes in the anchoring leg. Recommended screw: #6 / M3.5 flat head screws, minimum length - 3/4" (19 mm). Be sure to install the fasteners so that the screw head is flush with the anchoring leg surface, preventing it from transferring through to the finished surface.

For concrete substrates: The use of anchors is recommended. First, place the profile in its desired position and mark the hole locations onto the substrate. Next, drill pilot holes at the marked locations and install the anchors according to the manufacturer's instructions. Be sure that the anchor size is suitable for the selected fastener prior to the installation.

4. A patching/leveling compound can be used to eliminate inconsistencies in the floor and anchoring leg if required. Please refer to the patching/leveling compound manufacturer's installation instructions.

5. Install resilient covering according to the manufacturer's installation instructions, with recommended edge spacing. Be sure to cut the adjacent covering accordingly to fit within the pocket of the profile.

6. When installing with adhesives or grouting materials, remove any residue from the visible surface of the profile quickly.
