Schluter®-DITRA y DITRA-XL están específicamente diseñadas para instalaciones de baldosas de cerámica y piedra, ofreciendo desacoplamiento para evitar que las baldosas y la lechada se agrieten. Fabricadas en polietileno, DITRA y DITRA-XL sirven como capa impermeabilizante que protege los sustratos sensibles a la humedad, como el contrachapado/OSB. El espacio libre por debajo de la membrana proporciona una ruta para el exceso de humedad y vapor para evitar daños a la capa de baldosas por encima. DITRA y DITRA-XL realizan todas estas funciones a la vez que brindan un soporte/distribución de la carga adecuados al revestimiento de baldosas.
