New Peel & Stick DITRA-HEAT Floor Warming Membranes
Floor warming continues to be a growing trend for new and renovated homes and businesses alike. Flooring installers are using uncoupling membranes with floor heating cables because they are offer the luxury of warm tiles, combined with an ease of installation. Now, installing a floor warming system just got easier.
Schluter®-Systems is introducing two new peel & stick floor warming membranes: Schluter®-DITRA-HEAT-PS and DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS. Both new products are available in rolls and sheets to accommodate various room sizes.
These peel & stick membranes feature a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) to bond the membrane to the substrate, replacing the need for thin-set mortar. Simply remove the transparent release film from the fleece side of the membrane to expose the layer of adhesive and embed into the substrate. The membrane can easily be repositioned until pressure is exerted.

DITRA-HEAT-PS tiene un espesor nominal de 1/4" (5.5 mm) para minimizar el espesor de los ensamblados de baldosas y reducir las transiciones a superficies de menor altura. DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS tiene un espesor de 5/16" (8 mm) y ofrece además control del sonido y barrera térmica.
