Holes can typically be repaired by installing a patch of KERDI or KERDI-BAND with Schluter SET®, ALL-SET®, FAST-SET®, or unmodified thin-set mortar, making sure to provide a 2" (50 mm) overlap in all directions. Small punctures on walls, above the shower curb height or 2" (50 mm) or above the shower floor in curbless showers, when 2" (50 mm) overlap is not achievable may also be repaired using the Schluter®-KERDI-FIX sealant.
To maintain the Schluter waterproofing warranty, special care must be taken to maintain a 2" KERDI/KERDI-BAND overlap.
Note: All seams and fasteners must be treated with KERDI-BAND or KERDI, ensuring a 2" (50 mm) overlap. Apply using any Schluter thin-set mortar or an unmodified thin-set mortar.
