Schluter®-DITRA & DITRA-XLSystems installed over concrete can be slow to respond because of the mass of typically cool concrete immediately below the heating cables. Schluter-DITRA-HEAT-TB is the first electric floor warming system with an integrated thermal break to overcome this challenge.
By using a dedicated heating cable and ensuring the shower area has completed required waterproofing steps the shower floor can be warmed, just like any other tiled floor.
